It is a grim reality that an individual afflicted with any kind of skin disorder has to suffer societal ignorance, irritation and depression. The conception that Psoriasis is not curable has also taken deep root in the minds of the sufferers. After experimenting with medicines and cosmetics, they start believing that skin related problems do not get completely resolved. Moreover, they are troubled by numerous side-effects which aggravate the condition even further. However, through natural treatment the condition can be resolved in a safe manner.

What is Psoriasis?

Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune inflammatory skin condition, characterised by red patches on the skin. This occurs when our immune system mistakenly targets the healthy skin cells. In a response our body produces a large amount of skin-cells – more than required for normal cell regeneration. These cells accumulate in visible layers of hands, elbows, knees, lower back or scalp. Gradually these form as raised red patches or white, silvery scales at the affected area. The intensity of attack may vary from mild to even severe, where virtually the entire body may be affected. Psoriasis is not contagious, but it can cause extreme itching and great discomfort.
